Big March Update

It's been forever since we've updated.  Things have been really busy between Sam working, Emily running races, and Andrew's busy social calendar.

But here are a bunch of recent photos and videos of Andrew.

First of all…just a couple of cute pictures from the last few months.

And, now…some of Andrew's activities...

Having fun with mommy.

Playing "store" at the Childrens' Museum in Atlanta.

Andrew going down a big inflatable slide.  He LOVES this.

Andrew loves putting balls into basketball hoops.

Playing in a bounce house.  Andrew likes getting rough in these.

Score!

At the kids' gym, Andrew loved when the teachers start
hamming around.  In this case, the teacher puts stuff on her
head, then "sneezes" so it falls off.  Andrew always reacts
with a belly laugh or an "Oh Nooooooooooo!"

Andrew loves running around naked after his
baths.  And jumping on trampolines.
The two together are pretty darn funny.
Sometimes Andrew gets ahold of one of our phones.  He knows
how to do a lot of things on it.  One of them is to activate
Siri, which makes a little "bong" noise, which makes him giggle.

Andrew has gotten really interested in
building structures with his Mega Bloks.
This is one of his more masterful creations.

Andrew put on Emily's shoes and walked around the house.

Playing in the sand.  Andrew also really enjoys collecting
rocks at the playground.  He'll run all over the place,
grab 10-15 rocks, and bring them all back to his
sorting location, where he counts them.

After a long, hard day…you need a bath.
No, really…it started just as a tub with some water for him
to play in.  Then he decided to get in.

Andrew tries his first popsicle.  While he enjoyed it,
it made a mess, covering him with orange goo.

Dip! Dip! Dip!  Andrew got his own ice cream, and has
even started using his own spoon to eat it.

One of the play centers in Atlanta is geared
towards children with special needs.  One of
their rooms is the "sensory room", which has
all sorts of colored and moving lights.
Andrew really loved the big, color-changing
bubble tubes.

The Zoo!

Andrew and I joined some friends for a trip to the zoo today.  We had three toddlers under two years old, and it was nap time, but we did surprisingly well.  I just wanted to share a few of the pictures from our afternoon.

By far, Andrew's favorite part was the petting
zoo.  He loved feeding and brushing the goats.

Andrew and his friend Noah grooming the goats.  For a size
reference, Noah is exactly two months younger than Andrew.

We decided to hit the carousel and train on
the way out.

It was apparent that it was past nap time.
Somebody was NOT a fan of the train.

We barely made it out of the parking lot
before Andrew passed out.  I think that's the sign
of a successful trip.
